Come skate with us at the iceZONE Skating School!!
Our 8-week skating sessions are designed to introduce new skaters to the joy of ice skating while helping existing skaters improve their skills and continue to build upon them.
Our Learn to Skate program follows the United States Figure Skating Basic Skills Program. The curriculum is designed to keep skaters enthusiastic about skating from the time they begin lessons until the time they reach their goals.
Snowplow Sam 1, 2, 3
Beginners, ages 3 to 5 will be enrolled in the Snowplow Sam level. Each skater will start in Snowplow Sam 1 and will move up in levels after succesfully completing each 8 week session. The Snowplow Sam levels are designed to help the preschool age skater develop preliminary coordination and strength necessary to maneuver on the ice.
Basic 1 thru 8
Beginners ages 6 and up are enrolled in the Basic level. There are 8 Basic levels. New skaters will start in Basic 1 and will move up in levels after successfully completing each 8 week session. The Basic levels are designed for the beginning skater who has limited experience on the ice. Skaters will begin with basic coordination skills and upon completion of the 8 levels they will be spinning and jumping!
Adult 1 thru 4
Beginners ages 16 and up are enrolled in the Adult level and will move up in levels as they successfully complete each 8 week session. The Adult curriculum is designed for the beginning adult skater. It will promote physical fitness and improve balance and coordination while learning proper skating techniques.
